Within the last few hundred years, hairstyles have been adopted by men; recently within the last century female hairstyles have become more radical and extraordinary, with new styles being developed all the time, new varieties of hair styles are widely available.
Women hair styles are usually categorized into three styles:
Short hair styles: Short hair styles have been tried by most women at some point of their lives. This style makes hair quite easy to manage and the style rarely goes out of fashion. Short hair styles have been seen to have been straight or curly. Short hair can be made very much trendy with an expert hair dresser.
Medium hair style: Medium hair types are in fact, the most flexible hairstyles. Women whom have long hair styles find the mid-length haircut as a great option for various types of hair texture, whether it be thin or brittle, thick or just right. Medium hairstyles are very versatile and it is quite adaptable in the various other styles that can be combined with the hair to create gorgeous.
Long hair style: Long hair can be more stylish with different looks for different occasions, whether for social gatherings or at work. It can be tied in a bun, strands, braids, etc. The bun for instance can be made more stylish with flowers pinned to it. Hair colours have always better option for highlighting of hair and hair styling.
Hair weave
Commonly known as hair extensions or simply 'weave', is strands of hair that has been bonded by a vegetal adhesive called Keratin.
Hair colouring
Hair dyes fall into four categories: temporary, semi - permanent, deposit only and permanent. All these hair color products, except for temporary color, require a test before application to determine if the product causes any allergic reactions to the user/client.
A bun
A bun also known as a �Bobtail� is a type of hairstyle, the hair is pulled back from the face, twisted or plaited then wrapped in a circular coil around itself. They can either be secured with a hairpiece, a hairnet. They may be tightly gathered or slightly messier and more informal.
A Perm
A perm, is the chemical treatment of hair to produce long lasting curls. In cosmetology, it is termed a type of curl reformation.
The Page Boy
The pageboy is a hairstyle named after a drawing of a woman dressed as an English page boy. It involves straight hair hanging to below the ear where it usually turns under. Often there is a fringe in the front.
